Our stay in Paris has been enriched due to our hosts Cecile & Gilles. Paris is ultimately beautiful, harmonious and fun-filled city. It is a place where non-stop something is happening. .

L'Orangerie- comparatively quiet and full of impressionists' paintings. Musee Marmottan offers an extra opportunity to enrich your knowledge of the impressionist painting school plus there is always some intersting temporary exhibition. Montparnasse tower gives a tremendous display of the Paris view from the hight of 56th floor.

Restaurant D'Abri Cotier, 145 Boulevard du Montparnasse . Nice people, fresh and tasty food, reasonable price.

You can also try the braserrie indicated in the guide books Befiger, which is in Marais district. But mind you , it is a posh place( white table cloth, dressed up gusts, uniformed waiters etc.)

Being accustomed to the Moscow metro system, we got lost in one of the stations ,i.e. could not find the exit for about 15 minutes. The passer-bys we stopped to ask for the direction would take their time to think and showed as a rule the wrong way. Moral - do not be guided by stereotypes. In our case it was our Moscow experince with the metro.

Paris is surprisingly well-looked after. It's very unified , yet each ditrict is absolutely individual, possessing its own different from the rest charm. My constant thought in Paris was" its's unfair to have so much beauty concentrated in one place".
