B&B hosts in Paris - Reviews - Paris

by REATH J.

Jacques and Martine!! They're the most fantastic B&B hosts. They went out of their way to be accommodating.

The Eiffel Tower. From an engineering perspective it's a magnificant structure. I couldn't stop looking up at it from below. Then seeing it lit up at night was breath-taking. When I went to Paris as a teenager I thought I was too cool to go to the Eiffel Tower. I'm glad I went this time.

There was good Italian food close to the B&B but I don't remember the name of the restaurant. Both my grandmother and I enjoyed the food. She had eggplant parmesian and I had salmon in cream sauce with noodles. The service was faster than I've ever had at a restaurant anywhere in Europe. The price was very reasonable too.

My grandmother suddenly running to catch a metro train. All week she'd been remaking that she couldn't understand why everyone in the metro system was in such a hurry. Then, all of a sudden, she starts running to catch a train that stopped much further up the platform from where we were standing. We laughed all night about it.

-Proximity to the metro. Just a few blocks and you're there. It's so convenient.
-Quiet neighborhood. The room looks out onto a closed alley that only has personal garages so there's no traffic noise.
