Attractions in Paris - Reviews - Paris |
by DAVIDE S. I visited most of the primary attractions in Paris, without entering any museums for a matter of time, but I did walk all the basic arrondissements... most of the times on foot and with a detailed map. We had dinner in a open market in Mares area, where mostly maroccan food was served. (33€ for 2 main meals and 2 beers), in an african restaurant just behind the Moulin Rouge (found in the Lonely Planet guide... cheap, but not cheap beers!), in a brewery in a small street in Quartier Latin (crossing the picturesque Rue du Mouffetard. different cheese and a big beer), and a kebab along the Canal from the 10th arrondissement down to Place de la Republique. We were in Paris for the 14th of July. At the Tour Eiffel there was an event, a feast for s "France metisse", against any racism. There was music, a lot of people laying at "March's field", exibitions of drummers (brasilian music), and a lot of anti-racisms slogans. Very nice and touching. |
