Fabulous stay in Paris with a wonderful hostess who couldn't have done enough. Can't wait to stay again!
Louvre, Place de la Concorde, ST Germaine district, local streets around ST Madeline and B & B
Didn't really eat out much. Lovely cafes for coffe and meals all around. Went to layered to buy macaroons. they were delicious. Had beautiful cakes in local cafes as well. Also enjoyed great icecrsam. Glace . Many flavones.
no funny stories really. Only that on Tuesday morning it was purring rain and had to wait ages for a bus to go to Musee D Orsay. Finally got there and the lines were unbelievable. We had pre- purchased ticket and even that line unveluevably long. Decided not to go and spent the day looking around ST Germaine and Luxemburg gardens. Had a wonderful day.
The location is fantastic because so central to everything. Walking distance to everything or a short walk to metro station. Lovely little cafes nearby as well as lots of shops for just about anything. Not far to hop onto the double decker sight seeing buses either that take you around to all the main locations.
See all the B&Bs in Paris
