BatoBus tour in Paris - Reviews - Paris |
by MELISSA J. Notre Dame was amazing. We went up into the tower after walking through the cathedra. We also took a BatoBus tour on the Siene River, which was very convenient. The Eiffel Tower was amazing and I highly recommend going to the very top if you can handle it. The Louvre was amazing as well even though we didn't go in. Being American and not knowing the French language well enough we ended up having American style meals (aka Pizza Hut) a couple times. We did eat a little take out shop called Good Time that had decent food, but more importantly the people were pleasant. The ice cream shop in the Latin Quarter was delicious as well. Can't remember the name. There was an entertainer working the street while we were in line to go into the tower. He had a mask on and would go up to people to try and scare them. He'd either get right in their face or he'd walk along and grab hold of their hand to hold. People jumped, one little girl was so distracted that she ran into a pole. Just to experience Paris at least once in your life is worth it. The B&B was amazing and it was nice to go somewhere that was a home instead of a hotel. We had spent so much time in hotels and various modes of transportation that it was great to have such a comfortable place to stay. If you're not interested in being in the heart of it all then this B&B is perfect! |
