Louvre Museum in Paris - Reviews - Paris

by NOVICK, M.

Louvre Museum. We spent the entire day walking from one wing to another with an enjoyable lunch at the Richelou Cafe!
Eiffel Tower. The wait in line for the lift was not too long, and of course, worth it. We went to the summit and watched the sunset.
Normandy. The American Cemetary and memorial was well worth the day trip. Bring plenty of tissues.

Cafe Richelou (Angelina's tea house) at the Louvre made the day pleasant at the museum.
Street cafe near the Louvre where we stopped during a late night walk and enjoyed some delicious French Onion Soup.
Enjoyed every patiserie we visited.
Chez Clement at St Michel was very friendly with good food and a fun atmosphere.

One of our traveling companions was given a book of Paris Patiseries and we enjoyed walking around our neighborhood searching for many of the listed patiseries. Each evening we walked to the Louvre entrance square and enjoyed the Eiffel tower light show in the distance. There was not enough time to visit all of Paris!

Visiting Paris is always pleasant, no matter what season you choose. We enjoy the many sights and sounds of the city. Notre Dame, the statue of Liberty, the Seine by boat, the Louvre and many other museums according to your taste, the many street cafes, and plentiful patiseries all make the visit to Paris memorable.
