The wax museum in Paris - Reviews - Paris

by GABRIELA B.

The wax museum: fun to take pictures although there were many french figures I didn't know
The trip in the river: I recomend to take it in the afternoon to see the sunset and probably at night would be beautiful too
The saint chapelle: it was amazing to see the inside of this church, it's unbelievable
The top of the eiffel tower: I did it at night and I loved it, but you definitly have to wear a sweater
Trocadero: to get a different view of the eiffel tower
Parks and gardens: Luxemburgo, Tuilleries, Palais Royal, etc.
FL restaurant: delicious food and good prices, located in rue St. Dominique (close to the eiffel tower area)
Versalles: the castle is beautiful but the gardens were the most incredible thing to me.

FL restaurant, located in rue St. Dominique. It's the best restaurant to have a great meal at reasonable prices and the place is comfortable and pretty. At night it's best to make a reservation because it's not a big place and it's really good, and at noon you can have two dishes for 16euros. Another place I loved is in Rue de Rivoli, I don't remember the number but it's in that street and it's not very far from the Louvre museum.

Be careful with the people who say they can't hear or talk, they are everywhere and they make you sign a paper and then give them money and sometimes it's just to distract you and steel you.
Also think twice before you choose a restaurant because sometimes they can be expensive and the food isn't so good.
If you have to go to different places buy the navigo card, you can pay for a week to use the metro or bus as much as you want and it's really useful. I recomend using metro because it takes you everywhere and once you have the metro map it's very easy.

Paris is worth the visit because it's a very big city with so many interesting places, the key is choosing what you want to see (in case you don't have much time) and also to get information of the trips you can do to places that are really close to the city (there are short trips you could do, I didn't have the time and I don't remember the names of the places but you can always go yo the tourist center, there is one in av. de l'opera)
