Gardens in Paris - Reviews - Paris |
by DIACONU R. All the gardens of Paris are worth seeing since they each bring a distinctive feeling to the city and even to the people living there. It is a great place to live in. The most interesting place to visit was Versailles, both the castle and the Gardens and also Bois de Vincennes, that I found extremely welcoming and poetic. Basically at any bistro francais, especially in the area of Notre Dame cathedral and Saint Michel. I would warmly recommend the fondue and le maigret but also the legendary onion soup (that does not tasye like onions at all) Any bistro has its own atmosphere but one I was fairly disappointed with was Moulin de la Galette. Small and too minimalist for Paris. Well, when you go to a city like Paris there are lots of funny stories to tell. Everything lives, pulsates and has life. People are more alivve tan anywhere. The entire stay was different from anything we do at home, so it is hard to point out a specific moment. Maybe almost loosing the plane back because of a wonderful bistro. Romance- there is certainly no other city that can have the glamor and romance of The Eiffel Tower at night |
