glutenfree restaurant in Paris - Reviews - Paris

by IZEBOUD, P.

We did a very special walk, following the zero-meridian, that crossed Paris before GMT was established. We visitid the Notre Dame (excellent), the jardin de Luxembourg (excellent, though we think it even better when it is a little warmer), the Centre Pompidou (too much for one visit) and enjoyed the visit to the Saint Sulpice.
As a have a glutenfree diet, I have searched in advance where I ocould eat. And Paris has a glutenfree restaurant ! Des si et des mets in Montmartre is a rather small place, but the food was very good, the waitress wasn't hurrying us, so even if you don't have a special diet, try this restaurant. It wasn't expensive either.

No, no funny stories to be told, as we only stayed 4 days, but we did like the real French cafe in a suburbian part of Paris. Our host Canal Saint-Martin has told us some of her family history, as she comes from Elzas-Lotharingen and I , as a historian have peartiucuclar interest in this. So, very interesting
