The Louvre is always worth a visit - would recommend going on the first Sunday of any month as it is free entry. Would also recommend using either the underground entrances or the Portes de Lion (situated on the right just before you reach the bronze and gold statues if approaching from the Jardin d'Oranges
L'Criee on boulevard de Montparnasse does a fantastic array of seafood at a very reasonable price. Leons is a chain of restaurants in Paris specialising in mussels situated all over Paris, we visited the ones on Boulevard d'Montparnasse and rue de st Germaine. If you want to eat by the Champs Elysees, there is a restaurant across the road from the Champs-Elysees Clemenceau Metro with a red awning that is very reasonable
Very drunk owner of a restaurant near Sacre Coeur (can't remember the name) who had an unusual cover charge for all bottles of wine ordered where he sampled the first glass out of every bottle before he declared it fit to drink. He also claimed everything was home made, including the goats cheese - but that's a different story!
Paris is a beautiful city and this B&B is situated within walking distance (if you are feeling fit or within easy reach of many metro stations) to all the main sites.
The cafes are set up for people watching with all of the chairs facing the pavement. Reasonably priced - if you keep away from the main tourist haunts.
