An interesting stay in Paris - Reviews - Paris

by ANNELIES B.

We were in Paris for almost 4 days and visited Centre Pompidou and Notre Dame the day we arrived. It's very close to the B&B. The next day we had the perfect weather to go too Montmartre (!!) and cemetry. Maybe strange but the cemetry is really worth a visit. Louvre, Champs Elysee, Tour Eifel is what we saw on saterday. It has been a very interesting visit in Paris

Fuxia: very good for Lunch/brunch (one near B&B) and one near Arc the Triomph. Dôme Marais little more expensive but very good!
Botfinger: excelent for oysters and other seafood and foie gras
We also bought cheese and sushi in rue Lepic (near Mont martre) and ate the cheese with a good bottle of wine in the B&B. Perfect after a long day walking.

Everything went good. We enjoyed the whole trip and all small details. We bought a bottle of wine and asked to open it, because we were not sure we could open it in the B&B!
Maybe something to remember: buy a 'carnet' when you arrive with the train and want to go by metro. It are 10 tickets and prefect for a weekend.

1. Mont martre very nice and cosy place. Walk from Moulin Rouge to Montmartre and have a look at the (moulins) and wineyards.
2. Tour Eifel the location you have to see before leaving Paris and go up the stairs to have a better view.
3. Louvre go inside the piramid to have a closer view to the museum without paying the entree.
And so many more nice things!
