Amongst the historical sport sights to see in Paris, a Salle Coudurier visit goes without saying. An exhibition of arms where fencing has been taught and practiced since 1886. The inside of the building and its philosophy, which stands at the base of the artful structure, have always been the same. Every single object to be seen has its own story to tell each visitor. The Salle stands in the heart of Paris, in the VI arrondissement, with its busy streets, art galleries, the wonderful famous Jardin du Luxembourg and the splendid Place St. Michael, it is an arrondissement where anything is possible and you could even decide to visit this area, seeing nothing else of the city, and still be satisfied. The best time to visit the Salle is Saturday afternoon from about 5- 8pm, it has a very warming feel to it and it is possible to discover its “secrets” in total freedom. Its owner Maitre d’armes, M. Jena Pierre Pinel de la Taule is always present on the weekend.
