The Easter Egg Hunt at Vaux Vicomte Castle

In about a month we will be celebrating Easter 2015. If you haven't planned anything for the Easter weekend yet, take advantage of a stay in a Paris B&B, enjoy the beauties of the Ville Lumière and have fun in the exceptional Vaux Le Vicomte castle, taking you well away from your routine.

You get to this castle at the "doors of Paris" easily either from 2, Rue des Pyramides or by train from Gare de Lyon: the train leaves every 30 minutes from the Melun station to the castle. For a good few years the castle has been hosting the Easter egg hunt: 85.000 Easter eggs are scattered and hidden in the various angles of the Vaux Le Vicomte castle gardens and it had always proven to be an unusually pleasant way to spend the holiday, in open air with the backdrop of the castle. Children under 6 get in for free and over 6s pay €11, the reduced fee for adults is €14.50 and the full ticket price is €17.50

 This could be a beautiful way to spend Easter with your children, with a loved one or with friends. There is entertainment for children big and little: for the tinies there will be laboratories where they can make chocolate eggs. For the bigger kids, there will be the possibility to visit the castle by candlelight and even dinner in the castle's restaurant. At only an hour away from the centre of Paris you can give your eyes a treat with this magnificence.
