This exhibit was created by asking various comic strip artists to choose a work, a collection or a room in the Louvre and to tell its story within a story album. The Louvre Museum is open every day except Tuesday from 9am to 6pm. Hommage à Ettore Sottsass –Exhibition dedicated to Ettore Sottsass Pompidou Centre - until 31 March 2009 Dedicated works by the architect and designer Ettore Sottsass who died in 2007. His father was Italian and his mother was Austrian. During his career he produced industrial items like the famous Olivetti typewriter as well as artistic items like ceramics, jewellery, furniture and lamps.
