An Easter trip to Paris

We wait all year for the arrival of Spring and with it the days off to spend in a European city for a little change from our daily routine. The time has arrived for Easter in Paris. The arrival of the first warm rays of sunlight, the end of rain, wind and cold that announces a new season and leads to the Easter festivities. It's precisely in this period with the reawakening of the senses, the smell of flowers, and the warmth of the sun that we feel like getting away, like organizing a trip…the hibernation is over.

What better destination for Easter than Paris? A weekend Paris is truly ideal, seeing this city when it wakes from a harsh winter, after many months of snow, is a unique experience. The squares are full, the stairs leading to the Sacre Coeur are crowded with sun worshippers and all around there are plants and flowers in bloom. The entire city has a distinct smell and light that only occurs around this time of year.

Going to Paris for Easter is highly recommended, like all art cities it is the best time to go. Try to take pictures of of Notre Dame cathedral or the Eiffel Tower and then return home, observe them carefully, you'll be able to see the particular light that only northern cities have during the Easter period.
