The situations described deal with the experiences of both guests and owners’ of B&B’s that are members of our circuit Bed & Breakfast Paris. This is the second article of a posts' series that are inspired by cases and situations encountered daily…
Concerning our Members, check-in or the guests’ arrival time often causes misunderstandings.

A B&B stay in a city like Paris has an average duration of 3 days and those using low-cost transport arrive in the airport late in the evening. In fact, holiday makers often leave after a working day in order to get as much time as possible for their break.
Bed & Breakfast Paris’ booking centre, together with the Resort area – which is made up of the staff who manages bookings for our Members’ accommodation – tries as far as possible to match the Members’ working needs with the guests’ arrival time. Most of the time a bit of good sense and flexibility on behalf of both parties resolves the situation: on one hand the traveller can’t expect the owner of the house to stay up all night waiting without being contacted and the Member knows that an important aspect of the B&B business is welcoming guests and respecting their arrival needs.
Therefore, we urge guests to communicate to their chosen B&B in Paris their arrival time and any eventual delays or setbacks in their journey.
