B&B in Paris: stay in an artist’s home

Recently, the Bed & Breakfast Paris network has expanded with 3 new B&B in Paris in the twelfth arrondissement, just a 5 minute walk from the Opéra de la Bastille district, B&B Bastille 1, code “Paris231” in the quick search area on the top-right of the home page, B&B Bastille 4, code Paris234 and B&B Bastille 5, code Paris235. These are 3 independent, studio apartments in the building where the owner lives. This set up ensures maximum privacy. The owner, Ms GRAZYNA is a painter and has decorated the rooms of this B&B in Paris, with some of her works. It is also possible to visit her studio and purchase her paintings. A holiday in this B&B in the 12th arrondissement is made even more enjoyable by the presence of a ‘zen’ garden in the building’s interior courtyard.

This is a painting by Ms GRAZYNA

There is also an artist waiting to welcome guests in the thirteenth arrondissement: at the foot of the "Butte aux Cailles", Ms Frédérique runs the B&B de la Colonie, code paris188. It is a two-storey apartment, home to an artist couple: Frédérique, a videast, and her sculptor husband. Every month, a gallery exhibition is set up in the main area of this beautifully kept B&B in Paris Colonie district: design items, works of art, illuminations and videos show these two artists’ great versatility as well as their great hospitability.

The launching of Bed & Breakfast Paris Blogs.

From December 2007 Bed & Breakfast Paris’s 2 new blogs are on-line. "B&B...log Travellers’ Space” is the blog for Travellers who enjoy Bed and Breakfast hospitality; “B&B...log Zone Associés” is the blog for those who want to set up a B&B and for those who already run one. In the travellers’ section there is information, news and details about Paris: special offers, shows, exhibitions and events. In the members’ section, on the other hand, you can find information and explanations about how to set up a B&B business and read about the experiences of BandB owners. The blog also offers sector studies and trends as well as up-to-date laws concerning the Bed & Breakfast business. Vincenzo Ponterio - General Manager of Bed & Breakfast Paris – comments: “Bed and breakfast management has a friendly, informal relationship between the traveller and the host as its philosophy which over time builds up into an actual network of connections ”. The blogs have come into being from the idea of making a further tool available to everyone with which they can cultivate and expand this network. They give Members continuous access to the world around them from the comfort of their homes and let Travellers share information about their common passion.
