The neighborhood gets its name from Charles de Gaulle square: from the terrace of the Arc de Triomphe visitors can see the star made from red and grey cobblestones. The square is one of the most important in Paris and is 240 meters wide. It is the juncture of three different Parisian neighborhoods. On one side you will find the 8th arrondissement, with its elegance, haute couture boutiques, art galleries, and luxurious restaurants. On the other there are the residential buildings of the 17th and 16th arrondissements. Choosing a B&B in l'Etoile Paris means finding oneself on the Champs-Élysées and in the heart of Paris' history.
