The neighborhood gets its name from Charles de Gaulle square: from the terrace of the Arc de Triomphe visitors can see the star made from red and grey cobblestones. The square is one of the most important in Paris and is 240 meters wide. It is the juncture of three different Parisian neighborhoods.
