The B & B is in the 5th district of Paris, a few meters of the Arab World Institute, the famous Jardin des Plantes with the great Museum of Natural History. We suggest a nice “promenade” to “Mouffetard” Street, where you will find one of the city's oldest market streets, daily market, (closed Mondays), with architecture dating to the seventeenth-century, to Saint Médard and “Counterscarpe” square. You will discover an animated district with winding side streets and secret gardens.

The landlady, a sculptress, welcomes you to her apartment, located on the 5th floor with lift. The decor offers a journey immersed in art, with sculptures and bronze statues made ​​by the owner, who exhibited her works during the weekends. The guest room has two single beds and is very quiet, the bathroom is shared, and smokers are allowed. A cat lives in the apartment. The room can be booked by couples or women. As a single room, it can not be booked by men.

Saint Marcel metro station (ligne 5) is 300m.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The B&B is situated in a calm area not known to many tourists. Yet it's close to the centre and to the Metro. Karen is very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom (shared with the owner) are all right. We'll certainly come back!

Das Zimmer hat ein angenehme Größe und ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin war hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend und gerne zu einem kleinen Plausch bereit. Zum Frühstück hätte ich mir noch Croissants gewünscht :).

Nothing short of excellent. The room is big, by french apartment standards and we were glad for the space to leave our luggages open and still have room to walk about. (very impt since we had a lot of shopping to pack!) The apartment itself is very cozy and our host very friendly. :) am glad we stayed here for 3 nights. Pretty easy to locate from the train station as well.
