We suggest a nice “promenade” to “Mouffetard” Street, where you will find one of the city's oldest market streets, daily market, (closed Mondays), with architecture dating to the seventeenth-century, to Saint Médard and “Counterscarpe” square. You will discover an animated district with winding side streets and secret gardens. You will also come upon several medieval houses. The metro (line 5) is direct to Bastille.
