DESCRIPTION
This B&B is on the 5th floor of a fully restored antique building without an elevator (lift). The B&B entrance is independent; organized on two levels – the entrance, toilet with shower and sitting room are on the lower level and the bedroom with 140cm wide bed is on the upper “loft” level. From the sitting room you can admire the view in the photo. The owners, husband, wife and two children, live in the next door apartment. Breakfast is served in the owner’s kitchen and they are happy to share their knowledge of the area with their tenants.

ZONE
The B&B is situated on a street with many types of activities. Many of today’s artists came here to perform their first concerts and many artists began their careers in this area. Places of rendezvous like Maroquinerie, La Bellevilloise and the “bistrot” Le Cafè des Sports where concerts are held almost every night. There is a restaurant where you can eat L’èchapèe for €9/meal.
This is a lively street in a stylish and popular quarter of the capital.
For about 150 meters there are winding shopping streets like Belleville, Pyrenees or Jourdain, where the Parisian life style moves bit by bit.
The view that this B&B offers will make you forget the day’s traffic and chaos as you admire the space of upper Paris!

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Metro #3 and #3 bis, which stop at Gambetta, take you to Republique, Centro Pompidou, Bourse, Opera and the S. Lazare station.
Metro #2 stops at Menilmontant and takes you to Belleville, Anvers (Sacre Coeur cable car), Pigalle e Charles de Gaulles Etoiles.

* La Bellevilloise

* Bellevilloise, a pub for concerts, exhibitions and meetings, was recently renovated and is open to the public. At 19-21 Rue Boyer, you will find the "Casa del Popolo", built in 1908 where, on the first floor, Jean Jaurés and other famous political figures once held their public meetings.
